on my way from the bank, i passed by a bookstore of second hand books. after several browses of possibly interesting books, i came across a book featuring the late celebrated rapper, Tupac  Shakur’s poem collection. in a glance, i came to learn few info’s about him, and reading through some of his simple works of literature, captured some of my lateral aspirations. it imbued themes on simplicity, of everyday struggle for survival in a violent environment of colors, of racism, of corruption of youth, love, and liberation of self. his works were no shakespeare or tolstoy, or shelly, rather of simple words of endearment, of guilt, hopes, and sincerity. that by his example i am attempting to explore into simple poetry. more than my current blog, i want to dig deeper into my subconscious periphery and find meaning in playing by words reflective of my psyche and heartaches.
